Looking great, BAM.

One thing to think about is what are they playing on. I'm thinking about real football players and what sort of weathering you see on their uniforms. When they play on grass, you'll see grass stains on their pants and elsewhere. So that's something you might want to add. Then again, this is future football, so maybe they play on something entirely different.

Grass stains would look good (it's fantasy btw bailey, they play on grass usually) i think the halfling would have most grass staining because of height and he's primarily a ball handler, the ogre wouldn't likely get knocked over much or bother with the ball so he's less inclined to get grass stained and Zug would be in between the two, they look great already, I'm just piggybacking and expanding off Bailey's comments

That looks epic, if it helps BB can be played on a variety of surfaces, for example in the video game adaptation there's a pitch painted on a boat (wooden planks) a marble and gold bitch, dungeon style stone slabs etc. it's pretty open in that sense so it's not just limited to grass. Being the king of dirt, grime and weathering I'm sure you'll nail it whatever you choose

Looks like I could use cork or slate!!! I'm so psyched when I saw this its actually the reason I started painting up the team with this in mind!!! Doesn't look tough to execute either. Although I've said these words many tones.:/ but you all know me.. Easier the better especially when you can weather the shit out of the field as well !!! I figured in BAM world they would be playing in the chaos wastes on a field of skulls and blood.

I feel it'd be only right if you completely dipped these minis in Blood For The Blood God to finish them off. And made a pitch entirely out of red-tinted water effects.

All looks great so far, I'm not sure if you're fighting against the sculpt a little bit on the hobbit, but he seems a little rougher than the other two

Yes fox it is a tough one.. But no fear he might get cut from the team I'm going to paint a ton every star player I can get I think in the bag there are 12 I've come up with so in the end there will only be 10 that make the line up!!!

Ok gents, first off I have 3 others coming in I mentioned the troll is def going in the center 2 models of the 10 he's that amazing of a sculpt!!!secondly if you have ZUG you have to feature griff oberwald!!! He's legendary in blood bowl , from the Lil bit I know about the backstory!!! Then morg 'N thorg will round it out!!! The dwarf team is also on my raider but may only include the big guy as their star as I'm about as crazy about the rest as I am about the rat ogre from the skaven :/

Yes, Zug and Griff were both from the reikland reavers before they were Star players, I'm not sure if there's a "game legal" stipulation for the competition but you might have problem if so because the troll can't play on any of the teams that Zug and Griff can,not sure about the halfling (I'm not even sure who he is tbh) thought I'd better mention it just in case (unless the rules for stars have changed that is)

As I mentioned this def isn't a team for play. It's for a possible competition team as in crystal brush , nova and any others I might enter them in. The best thing about crystal brush is no unit has to be game legal. So it's basically a display of all blood bowl stars. I never ever play these games. I'm just a painter with limited background on the universes their portrayed in. I really wish I could like the games but it just don't do it for me. This is why I'm stuck on trolls with dwarfs with humans. It's merely for display style painting.

Just thought I'd mention it as I've seen some painting comps have an up to 10 minis group category but it has to be game legal (which is annoying if you're just a painter with no interest in playing) looking forward to seeing the rest of the minis, particularly the troll because i didn't think it looked that special from the gw pics

It's a good thing you all have your eyes out!!! Cause up until my Vikings git removed I never read rules until then. But your 100%right as GW Golden demon is HUUUGE on ge legal from what I remeber u less they changed that. But CB is the only one I know of actually that states these things don't have to be. But who knows I may be in for another surprise when they come around advertising for it. But this time ill have a bunch of things ready to pick and choose from. And what ? You didn't like that troll well hey this is exactly why if we were all drs there would be no patients. Another mans trash treasure so to speak.

I'm kind of 50/50 on the troll, the face looks weird to me but probably because it's different to the usual look they have, most likely it's the paint job because most of the time when i see someone paint things on here i like it way more than the GW pictures.

Lol have no fear , I shall paint it (after all its a greenie) MYCH more attractive than whoever has been painting the forgeworld BB models!!! Brew if that person is reading this we just can't help it their good just not up to par with the Eavy metal teams job of old!!! Truly not trying to insult anyone.

Update: Lil more to do but getting there. Now I've stumbled across 3 more models that will bilk out the unit: BIG CHILD creatives has 3 35 mm models for blood bowl, another troll, sharki( a great looking ork) and big bomba. With these ill also be using the GW troll, griff oberwald and ..you ready a dwarf (death roller) and a dwarf star!!! Now THAT'S a team with plenty of variety!!!
