Hello ekipage don't think I've seen you round these parts ;) anyway how is everything and thank you for your very kind remarks. Ill be at NOVAs capital palette with a TON of entries in every category. Be sure to stop by as all my best work will be on display. Looking forward to meeting you matey.;)
Yeah, I am a crap painter at the moment. Just started again recently after about 20 odd years of not doing it and trying to get my level up to at least a descent tabletop level before posting. I have mostly been asking some questions (which I have to say you all provide some great feedback) to help others.

Everybody starts out less experienced the one thing I can say to you is use these forumns and post your minis this way the cmon family can see where you need the help...don't worry if they look sub par ,all the great artists ,just look at their galleries of their earliest works.they were not great at that point. We all start there ,that's the fun cause if we all started great it wouldn't be a fun journey. Also keep painting get as much time in as you can and then use this time steadily every week ,the more models that pass through your hands the better you'll get.youll see ;)

Agree with bam (as usual) I waited a year before joining up and basically in that year all I learned was brush control and a fairly smooth pain job (as in not too thick paint) since I joined I've come on leaps and bounds, the sooner you show your minis the sooner you get advice.

Also bam, I just popped in to bring this to your attention https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/05/27/warhammer-fest-live-blog/ the minotaur has your name all over it but I guess he would compete with the troll for attention

Yeah, I have purchased a bunch of stuff (brushes, minis, paints) still learning some good tips trolling these forums (for example, I never even thought of using steel wool on the metal mini's I got until I saw it in another post response). Main problem is I just really started a couple months ago and then had to get surgery on my C-spine again so even though I had two months off of work, I still could only put in the time that my neck would allow. Put there is a mini or two I have mostly finished that I think I need to put up for comments. I just need to get a descent set up for some pictures.

Def no stranger to surgery myself my most current one was a double cuff surgery to repair 3 tears .Took 2 years and six months to heal and never the same but I can empathize that it had me out of even painting for 6 months. It sucks but hang in there listen to your docs get whatever time in you can and upload ASAP when you are feeling bold and well help you out bud.

(My muse) snow guys I did give morg a very light heard although mostly a dirty bunch of sacks I figured they all wouldn't look like with the same level of stubble. And lets face it he purposely cuts his hair into a Mohawk. He has to possess some vanity right?!! Lol enjoy as the losers take the field oh right it's not the New York jets!!! :/

Nice going BaM. Your two big guys (not including the green one) look distinct enough from each other. You can see just how big he is next to Grif as well.

Awesome work on the bases too!

Thanks so much fox ,yeah these are just the yardage lines. If all goes according to plan each will be a small dio on its own including barrels, benches, bones and maybe some gobos from the gobo team crushed underfoot, peaking out those barrels and other antics.;)
