Back to the arena Rex entry- started the armor - thescale 75 Metallica are incredible. Coverage in one stroke. And the coppper series which Janet bought as a gift, are turning out to be a set I’ll use more than often for bronze, copper etc.View attachment 63851

Just wat to point out the plume and the cloth underneath the leather straps on each arm, makes the “HARMONY TRIANGLE”!!! I try to include this on each model. It’s gotten habitual and the more your concious of including it when painting your models the more it will come naturally like the 5 layers of contrast.if folks are looking to paint better there are things like this that are just as important than smooth blends that should be taken into acct. try it out .best way to get more proficient is to try.

crickey, leave this thread for a few days and all of a sudden a whole world more awesome. liking both the nurgle dude and the running man. very nice flesh tons on him and I like the overall palette for the nurgle. great stuff.

Here’s some idea of what the base might look like. In addition to the ruins I’ll be using the footprints in the sand which is how they advertise these arena Rex models. I did it last year and the judges made a comment to me that I made a wonderful use of it from their tutorial and is how the models are advertised . They couldn’t understand why more folks didn’t use it on their entries.
