Been seeing pics here and there and keeping in mind all the different factors, haven't seen any pics of yours pop up but there is a primaris space marine that helps me make a point. It's covered in very neat freehand and shows a great technical ability (which no one can deny) however, the whole model is in grey scale, it's really hard to see if there is any shading or highlighting done to it (it doesn't look like there is to me)it looks pretty much like it's painted a flat dark grey or black with fancy freehand all over, the base is also just a bunch of rocks. Now when it comes to voting it's easy to think it should score high because of the freehand but there's just no atmosphere and they've skipped out on effort with the basing, there's not much to go from on interesting colour choices either, basically if you stripped the freehand off it it would be a fairly standard TT quality imo
I've seen it on FB and it sounded like the guy was going to use inks to colour it when the freehand was done but doesn't look like he did in the end
