Not yet! But I *did* finish the Oznat:

And I don't have to make the base, hahaaa. The ogre is up next!

Wow. So will you be doing the ogre by feel now that your are blind from that freehand? You and Demi need to square off on infinity minis just to entertain the rest of us! All in favour?

Looks like I better bust out these guys too, I brought the Morat starter kit when they 1st came out, I saw it on Giradlez blog and had to have them to paint! You have have done a fantastic job on her she is actually pretty slim/small compaired to a SM.

Dam pesky finishing things, Im so into it up to about 90% then its a bit of a slog if I stuff around.
I like the winter idea too, going crazy with my little girl singing the frozen song hahaha

Digga, thanks! It only took 291023 tries to get a damn straight line.

Zab, my eyes are little melted puddles in my skull, it's true, but don't be silly--I use a complex method of echolocation and scent-signaling to detect and paint miniatures, same as the rest of you. (But no. I saw his Joan. I aspire to blends as smooth and faces as pretty as what Demi does.)

Canny, that's an excellent avatar you have there :D and yesss, you should! Combined Army is awesome, did you see the model for Kornak Gazarot? Dem braids. And yeah, Infinity has some tiny baby minis. The Morats are a little bit more, ah, robust than the average human, thankfully.

Sigmar, thank you! I need to get her up in the gallery, don't I?

A pressganger friend is trying to get a hold of one of each of Warmachine/Hordes' warcasters/warlocks, so I'm finishing up these old minis back from when I used to play. They're...I don't know, three years old? It's really hard to just finish up the neglected bits and resist redoing the entire miniature. So here's a little blast from the not-too-distant-past:

The camera's being pretty kind (for once), the blends are pretty streaky and chalky. Still like that Legion scheme, though.

AND happy holidays and such, hope you all get loads of miniatures or money for miniatures or toys that will distract your children so that you have time to paint miniatures!

Oh those are some awesome minis, and after having the pleasure of seeing your work I can't wait to see you tackle these guys.

Weeell, there won't be a whole lot of tackling, just finishing up the weapons and little details.

Some progress:

Trying to get the armor all beat up but still clearly metal.

You're definitely the one to be referencing, BaM. I'm not using true metallics, but the principle seems to be the same. Nice looking lineup there, look forward to seeing them at Crystal Brush! :D

Whoa, getting it done! Love the stripes on Oznat, though I do think she needs some OSL eye slits or whatever. Love the anime kit. Great work!

Thanks Demi! She has eyes but no OSL. I'm letting her go to move on to other projects, but I definitely agree that more could have been done, especially up in the face. Never did get her crest-thing to look quite right.

Worked on some bases last night:

And, by the magic of Christmas:

Ar-Fiach has a big bubble right on her chin, unfortunately, but should be nothing a little greenstuff can't fix.

I *think* she's done.

Gonna try and take some better pictures with Actual Daylight (the shadows seem pretty harsh in the ones above, dang winter) tomorrow to be sure.

Yep, the best paint job is a finished paint job! Interested to see your take on that broken helmet bust. Every time I see that model i wonder if she is wearing her armor that has been catastrophically damaged or if she has scavenged armor and some how pieced it together to use some of it's functionality? It's a neat sculpt either way.
