Sionid's Clean Your Plate WIP Thread

Base is absolutely killer. I'd make it maybe a bit busier with some accessories. Maybe a few crates or some
rubbish. But you've done a great job adding contrast to it. Also
the door needs a knob and some hinges. The latter are very easy to make with some super thin plasti. Can even cut into interesting designs.

Looking great. I think the brickwork is to uniform, maybe shade a few random bricks a slightly different colour?

Good ideas all around, thank you!

There's a lot I want to tweak on the treasure chest base, honestly. I will try to fix and use it, but perhaps for a different pirate scene when the deadline doesn't loom so close.

I'm so close to being finished with these jerks. SO CLOSE.

Now you are starting to sound like Demi and his lizard men. Project burn out is a stealthy foe o_O The clown girl still freaks me the f**k out :nailbiting:

Your "jerks" look gorgeous! That is some very impressive detail on all three of them. I think you are my new Hero.

Aw, shucks. I'm sure I'll like 'em better when they're done. In the meantime, tats!

Side note, I'm now kinda getting why so many of you like painting big lumpy dude-muscles. They're fun!

Thankya!

Welp, they're done for now. If I have time after wrapping up other projects, I'll go back and add some stuff on the floor. Holding off posting for voting for that reason.

"Wild-eyed sailors tell a tale of the nefarious pirate ship Devil’s Shadow and its mysterious disappearance. Of the ship’s crew, only three souls ever returned, now guided by some unseen evil. This trio disperses as quickly as an ill wind, staying only long enough to form contracts with desperate men. Their goals remain a mystery, and the three otherwise go wherever the gales send their cursed ship."

Nice background story, one fella alone with two women, the open sea........
back to the painting, glorious work and I love the two swords on the bloke, I may have to copy that as words is something I could do with working on.

Well I do have a favourite! and it is the red haired girl!! really like his expression and the way you painted her face and costume. Those hairlined tatoos on the blades guy are super too.

Just lovely :) Except that scary chick in the middle, she's great from the neck down though - hmm, that sounded unintentionally douchey.

Thanks! I can't take credit for the words, they're straight off of PP's page for them.

Working on the necromancer:

And I started on her today, too. Still debating hair color.
