I know what would help bring your mojo back, building bases for my company ;). In any case I would say take a break for a month or two as you paint a lot..well a lot more then most of us do anyways.

id prefer to move up a scale to at least 54mm, its a scale i prefer. ill do some investment in a new airbrush (finally!) and also some oil colors just to learn something new, hope that will boost the hobby a little :)

ty! yes ill be going, at least i think so. got a ticket for german one. that's why i have to try finish this little gang of horrors til august. 5 small minis in 2½ months... hmm :)

you know i would. im going to finish the horrors, then i have a historical bishop knight in pipeline, hopefully make it to euromilitaire (but i doubt) which i hope to attend to, otherwise for the largest model show in sweden early november. after that, i might give the sculpting thing another go :)

finally some more wip pictures then! first, a shot of the finished banner (i made it, yay!)



the first horror carrying the banner is pretty much finished too, just some metal and touch up's left. and the base of course, but that isnt going to be anything spectacular. need to push it if ill be able to finish these in time (without too much panic...lol)

Such bold freehand I would not even attempt something so intricate! It came out really nice, how many hours did the banner take you roughly?

ty folks! not sure if i will keep this exact skin-scheme for the whole gang or if i should mix in other colors on the other for variation. i quite like the blue shaded pink though! :)

no idea how many hours on the banner. a lot, but at the same time i believe it took less time than expected. get it right the first time counts! :)

your metallics - sell them to me. Tell me their deep dark secrets. Knowing you start with Vallejo Model Air isn't enough!

Shoot Trystan - we just need to kidnap Skelly and bring him to the states. He'll get used to Texas in the winter and Illinois in the summer. He'll be painting messages on those banners like Chinese fortune cookies. ;) Help! I've been kidnapped. hehe

Very, very nice work Skel. Every time I pop in here my jaw hits the floor. I know you're not seeing it - but I'm seeing your talents take leaps forward and that is indeed scary. Us mere mortals have no hope!

It is also amazing to watch. I consider myself very lucky to witness it.
