I would love to see the horrors, I am going to play with a squad of 20 and the terminator sorcerer from GW in a week. I hope I can glean something from those :) They're still unpainted.

I'm intrigued. Are these going to be the darkest horrors ever? I think this is what comes of painting SENMM ultra smurfs. Its lead to an unhealthy obsession with bright colours.

On a different note (and apologies for the belated comment) the golliath nurgle warrior thingie (at least I think that's the technical name for it) looks great. I did worry that the overall composition was going to be too dark, but the last photo looks really nice.

Very cool looking figure. Love the whole atmosphere.

Out of curiosity, do you remember where you got those fence/gate parts you used in the base (the ones lying on the ground)? What company made them? I'm looking for some to use with my minis and those have some great details. Thanks!

Always impressed by your base work. Good to see you back to your classic style and on such a sweet mini too, Hats of to you and egotyk both!
Been Staring at my Jezebel and sinister for a few days but still finding it a bit intimidating to actually put brush to resin :p
Were those flowers left over from the dread or are we seeing a softer side of skel creeping to the fore? :p

thanks folks!

bailey; these fences are from a (german) train model manufacturer, sadly i cant remember the name right now... Busch i believe! found it, HERE "Wrought Iron Fence 65cm" :)

secretpaintgeek; about the flower, well i did use the same for the dread. i got an unlimited supply, found a perfect scale flowers outside in the flowerbed :) for this scen, i really dig to mix in something beautiful with the horror for contrast. also, it breaks up the green-blueish colors (which also was the idea with the dread)

It does create a nice contrast, both in colour and atmosphere. Lucky to have such a perfect scaled flower in the garden. Maybe i'll have to plant a few bits in my garden, all planted with scale in mind of course :p

ischa, i dont like females, remember? ;)
first plan with the horrors is to prepare and paint the banner freehand, did a small conversion to fit in a big flag. what about that painting day btw?
