lol :D

I'm eager to see the finished thing, as that parrot is looking fabulously flamboyant!

I've put together a description of the colour palette used on my Uncle John bust. For any one interested it can be found here.

Nice breakdown on the colours used there. Are you on course to finish on time for Euro do you think? No pressure or anything ;)

All going well I should be! I have a busy weekend ahead of me in order to finish everything off but I've made good progress so it really is mostly finishing touches. I've two plinths painted ready so I can see what works best and then I have to make up some boxes for transporting the minis. Busy, Busy, Busy!

Great feathers. The subtle hatching (?) you added into your shading really pops out after a second. I am inspired to paint some feathers!

That is a healthy attitude. Always be on alert when everything is going fine.

I once was told by an American that it is a very European way of thinking.

Silence in a forest is an ambush waiting to happen, and an empty room is filled with ninjas.

OK, nothing creepy or weird going on here at all then!

Things are going very well inspite of my paranoia. Uncle John is ready for Euro and I've even finished making transportation boxed for him & Squarg. Now I just have to brace myself for the Friday evening drive to Folkstone which, depending on the traffic, could be a nightmare!

Sproket; I'm hearing you on that one Dave!
The missus and I are doing :-
Home to Bolton = Taxi
Bolton - Manchester = Train
Manchester -London Euston = Train
Euston - St.Pancras = Underground
St.Pancras - Folkestone = Train
Folkestone - Hotel = Taxi

Bricking it for all eight pieces I'm bringing.

Good luck to you all!! There's a lot of talent between the five (included Andy and Skel) of y'all, so I'm fairly certain there's some winners on the trip home. Keep us posted and please take lots of pics!!! Especially curious of DR's 8 pieces....who knew?
