Cool, I'm curious to see a rotten Poseidon, that trident is a neat conversion.

Just when I thought I was off to a good start, everything came to a grinding halt with the discovery that along with a Bronze Demon I also picked up a cold at Warhammer Fest! To put it simply: all my get up and go, got up and went.

As a result there isn't any dramatic progress to show but I've finished all the prep and assembled the mini. I’m not doing a lot of conversion work on Gutrot but in addition to the trident, I’ve added a bell to his belt and a few barnacles to the armour.

I've also updated my blog with my thoughts and inspiration for a Nautical Nurgle colour scheme

Nice looking and I think the conversion part is perfect not to much but as you write on your blog to get the feel for water nurgle. Also recommend people to go over to the blog to read up about colour choices and get some ideas. Good blog part like it a lot.

Very Cthulhu. Also reminds me of the Cthulhu-ish Metallica song "The Thing That Should Not Be"

"Hybrid children watch the sea / pray for father roaming free.." Hope you feel better :)

Why the hell would anyone want to be blessed by nurgle! Round about the bit your arm falls off and a tenticle takes its place you must start thinking "hmmm maybe i didn't think this through"

great little touches and im looking forward to seeing what you do.

As a BloodFather to the ruinous Khorne, I cannot sponsor this project.

....buuuuuuut, if I going to base this badass mini, I would put him astride the front (prow?) of a longship. You'd just have to build the front portion of the ship, and you could either scratch build or kit bash a figurehead. Perhaps a Nurgle Medusa at the base of the ram. Could make this longship (Dragonship) of decaying wood, infested by barnacles.

...just a couple idears. If you don't use them, I will one day:)

I'm going to be watching this very closely so I can learn a few things from the master of mini masterpieces...cannot wait to see this..
