dropped that, point down into my leg. i was working in my boxers (dont ask), sliped and ended up with the bloody thing slap bang at the center point between my artery and my balls. but i was luckywound needed stitches (but i left it too long to get them), i couldnt play rugby for a week, got internal bleeding (thats a bruise, harcore i know) and still have the scar
I smile and laugh cuz I\'ve been there with a similar story...
Working at my bench, I set my knife down infront of me to adjust something on the mini, when I noticed out of the corner of my eye something slip off the table. Now, we have all droped small bits on the carpet, only to be found by the vacuum months later; so I instincivley shut my legs in hopes of catching the bit. Well, to my horror, it was my knife, and as my legs shut, drove the blade into my right leg, just missing my balls. So, all this aside, I did not want my new jeans full of blood. I called my Mom for help and proceeded to take off my pants (no blood on the denim, right?). Well, for whatever reason, I was going commando that day. I droped my pants and realized my mistake just as my Mom appeared. She got a full frontal! Oh yeah...
She laughed and laughed, as did I. Yes, go ahead, I know I am leaving myself wide open on this one. It was hilarious, and I laughed too. Got lucky, as the knife missed my balls and my big artery.
Moral of the story, I always place my knife far away from the table edge.
And yes, I have dropped minis, spilled paint and the like. Never had a glue accident yet (now I\'m cursed). Never drank paint water, but cleaned a few brushes in coffee.
Remember, we can\'t be professional until somebody\'s lost an eye, right?
