Or how about water? Bottled water runs around $80 per gallon! for water!

As the great T-Bone Walker sings: \'Times is getting tough, the hustle is really on\'...

If the world gets anything like the way Mars is in \'Total Recall\' we\'ll be paying for the air we breath in the not too distant future.

* a slight edit... Games Workshop products are fooking cheap when I compare them to other expenses in life. Why GW sux threads seriously suck!!! More like... why the author of another GW sux thread sux !!!

Architechs of their own destruction

Whine, complain, spam, or do something.
I haven’t bought a GW thing in years. They abused me and they abuse my friends with their shoddy business practices. (No, I won\'t go into my personal story, it’s not that interesting)

So what did I do?

I talked to the shop owners in town and showed them how they were getting screwed by GW. I showed players of GW games how they were getting screwed.
I let natural attrition start working & promoted other games.

The result?

My moderately sized town of about half a million folks has a much smaller GW market. The store owners are happy because their sales are up, mostly from other games.

Does GW care? Maybe a bit more than they did when it was just me, but not lots.
Now, if you who are reading this decided to the same in your town (and its not hard, GW has done most of the work for you) and a few dozen mid sized towns find other games to do, I suspect someone in some office is going to start wondering what is up and MAYBE see what the problem is.
Or not, and the next company can learn from GW\'s mistakes.

My point is all the people that don\'t like the \'bash GW\' threads are right, quit talking and do something.

the difference is that water is actually valuable. people in the western world are terrible water wasters. this is the stuff of life! aquifers are running low, droughts worldwide, and people are watering their lawn at 2pm! wtf. pure water is relatively rare, and expensive to make.
reefer is only expensive if you dont know where to get it ;).
