most of the teams seem fairly amateurish atm. the italians had some slick passing at times though. i just feel the rugby isn\'t being played at a true professional level

I think they have tinkered that much with the rules now they have spoilt the game.

Wales were that bad yesterday I thought Italy were actually going to beat them listening to it.

Ireland Scotland game was better and during the first half Scotland actually played like they wanted to win.

The way Wales have played for the last two matches I think they have gone from favourites to somewhere else, they don\'t seem to want it anymore, I mean a line up with Ten changes in the team WTF is that all about?

Unless they pull something out of the bag I can\'t even see them beating Ireland at the moment.

Well, looking forward to sitting down this aft and watching the rugby.

1) Expect England to win. Might be misplaced optimism but I always go into home games expecting the victory, in the same way I expect a hard game away from Twickenham.

2) Expect Wales to win next weekend, partly due to the \'Millennium factor\', partly due to it being a title decider (of sorts) and partly due to the fact I still think Wales are the best team in the Northern Hemisphere.

3) Much as I hate to say or admit it, I reckon it\'s been the worst Six Nations in years for either skill or excitement.

I think that makes us scorers of the most tries in the tournament so far. At least we ain\'t playing negative rugby atm!

Good, satisfying win

I\'ve been away at Center Parcs the past week so have some catching up to do. First off, well done to England. I thought they\'d win, but not by that much.

On today, I expect a tight Wales win but I\'m praying for some decent rugby first and foremost. Of course, it could all go wrong and we\'ll end up as low as third or fourth if we lose (given England\'s try count and a possible thumping in France for Italy - though I see it being tight in all fairness).

So, on one hand there\'s glory waiting whilst on the other there\'s embarrassment. Can Ireland deal with the hype? Can Wales finally cut loose? Can they hit the magic 13pt margin?

I\'m hoping for some real rugby from Wales to take us there - I\'m fed up of the negative style we\'ve seen up till now.

Let\'s have an ale and watch as it all unravels!

Madam Zelda\'s Amazing Predictions.

England to win by ten after a tight start.

Wales to beat Ireland and I\'m hoping for Wales to be in front by about five points with ten minutes to play and then they go all out for the thirteen points.

France to beat Italy comfortably.

No surprises with these musings methinks...

:beer::beer::beer::drunk: Well done England... second half was a bit disappointing but we\'re now well placed....

We just need Ireland to do the business now ;)

well fair play lads, they are finally playing as if they want to win, and win they did. not bad passing, not too much kicking (some awful attempts over the posts)

i was rooting wales to win, as i live there and the welsh will always inhabit a small part of my heat. BUT i feel good for the irish

i have to say i wan\'t impressed with the first 2/3 of the game. a lot of mistakes and some real schoolboy style passing. the last 1/3 was good though. i\'m not saying the quality improved, as it was so tense i can\'t remember! whata way to end the tourney

It would have been a travesty if we\'d pipped it. 4th seems a bit harsh on the face of it, what with three away games and still almost beating France and Ireland at the end of those matches...

Henson says we need to play our own game rather than negatively stopping others. I agree. Our try count was crap too.

I\'ve had enough of this rugby lark.

The Irish enjoyed the weekend over here though. There were thousands of them. Town smells like wee today...

Jebus that was close!

The country has gone bonkers. I watched the last five minutes of that match between my fingers. The pub I was in was packed and you could have heard a pin drop as Jones lined up that penalty, quickly followed by a groan as it seemed to be on its way. Once it dropped short pure madness, people were crowd surfing down the length of the bar, I think I may have kissed a random male stranger :drunk: and the worst thing is I think he may have kissed me back.

We have been waiting a long time for a championship let alone a grand slam. Happy days. In the end though I think if Wales had managed to win the game it would have not been an injustice. Ireland dominated the game terrortary and ball wise but still was not able to kill of Wales and fair dues to them they came back hard and fought for the win.

An intense tough match to finish off a fairly disappointing six nations in terms of quaility rugby.

Don\'t let the quality of the tournie detract from a good Grand Slam. There\'ll be knockers for sure - heaven knows it happened when Wales won the Slam in \'05 and \'08. Whatever they say, a Slam is still 5 from 5, and given how strongly England and France finished, I\'d give kudos to Ireland for doing a job on them both (no matter how close the England result).

Next year I can see Wales really struggle if we don\'t get back to scaring teams with our attack. I\'m not sure what Gatland has been trying, but my hope is that he\'ll revert to something more suited to the traditional Welsh skill-set.

We\'ve got Ireland and England away next year. Doesn\'t bear thinking about if we don\'t sort things out!

Any thoughts on the Lions anyone?

BoD\'s form has been pretty impressive, a shoo-in for outside centre against the Saffers for the Lions. O\'Connell will be a starter, and it\'ll be between them for captaincy.
