\'twas a true pleasure to meet many of you yesterday at Games Day/Golden Demon, I was prepping for the event in a vacuum, with no feedback from anyone. It will be lovely to be able to share work in progress things with you over the coming year. Very well done to the others who walked off with prizes, some of those entries, particularly the nurgle daemon in large scale model were breathtaking. It was the first thing I did when I got onto the internet to sign up here as a result of chatting to several of you. Thanks so much!

To all the winners a big,
WELL DONE!!!
It was great to meet everyone at the hotel, it was utterly fantastic to put faces to names and look at some very pretty mini\'s.
There was some great work submitted (Julien, your Giant is one of the best miniatures I have seen, ever!). Although this year I came away with badges and not statues it has given me ALOT of food for thought.
@Rob& Nigel: Superb duels, I was very happy with all three winners (I know Mark isn\'t on this site but he is SUCH a nice guy). Nigel you did look like shite though lol
There are just not enough opportunities for the UK painting/modelling community to get to one place. I think there should be more.
I for one will be at Fiasco at the Royal Armouries this year (26th October), small show but worth a look.
Good do all round, it will be interesting to see more pictures

Looks like a great was had by all :beer: glad to hear that so many UK winners got in there this year! the europeans have been truely inspiring and we must thank them for that, but next year we will have to get a british clean sweep

I don\'t think that pic really does justice to the mini... the freehand emblem on the shoulderpad alone is worthy of a demon IMHO
It was very nice... and all the more incredible after he told us he\'d painted it in less than a week, with a big chunk of the work having been done in the hotel the day before.
