Trip around the world

Certain parts of Seattle downtown are really nice. It\'s got some character, which can be good or bad. 
I\'ve always wanted to go to
@ Shawn R. L. - I always tell people who complain about the rainy/cloudy days up here that if it weren\'t for that, the area wouldn\'t be as green. But yeah...it is gorgeous up here.
I\'ve always wanted to go to one of the big parks like Yellowstone or something. Maybe one of these days when I have the time (ha!) and the money (ha ha!) I\'ll take a road trip or something.
I\'ll try to see about posting pics of my \"other\" home when I get off work. Most of them are pretty boring (like streets and stuff), but the area is pretty. :flip:

I stayed a weekend at Friday harbor. You could see Victoria across the water. At night there were glowing jelly fish. Beautful. Killer whales were known to migrate near there. While at the beach I found 1/2 of a seal!!
wow, you guys have sand everywhere, your beaches must be as big as ours! wait, what is this sn...ow... thing people keep mentioning... ???

What I like most about it, is that the path through the snow is curved, like the 100\'s of people who walked it all decided that the straight route wasn\'t the best, and that a S shaped path was the way to go.

Wow, love some of those beach shots. Love to spend some time there too!
But on the other hand, I\'d miss some of my guests...
The moose likes to look in my sunroom window, and the bear likes to frolic in our pond. Of course this doesnt impress the Koi!

@Margo, your as good with a camera as you are with a paint brush. I really liked the little roses you did. I put some little flowers in one of mine, inspired by yours (your\'s were way better though).

Here a few shots of Santa Rosa Calif. Included is a shot of Armorcast (we do cast resin terrain pieces and some Battletech stuff).

And I realized I hadn\'t posted probably the one most famous part of Santa Cruz, the boardwalk!
As you can see there is a river that runs along one side of the boardwalk, and if you\'ve ever seen \"the lost boys\" the bridge they jump off of is just off the right side of this shot, and is about a 15 foot drop into smooth water.
And just to set the scene, this next photo is if you turn in place to look back out to the ocean.
These photos only show about half of it, but they\'re all I have right now, the far side is all the arcades and a ton of beach volleyball, and a little further along, the peir into the bay with fishing, shops, seals, etc...
nice place to spend the day! I\'m lucky enough to get to run by here every day (I live about a mile away).
