I was using a more modern resin beaky head for reference and while there is a slightly more pronounced forhead when compared to the original i think it works, i can certainley try and shave it off but it will look like he's got no frontal lobes to his brain lol. i think the deformities of the original metals casting are evident in the shoulder pads and head, thats my excuse anyway lol im going to leave it for now until i can give you a full upper torso mock up picture and if you still want the alterations then ok i will certainley do em (PSST wouldnt be my first choice). as i said i like to add a little practicality into the workings to keep things real if you shave it down its going to look impossible for a normal shaped head to fit in it

having had several flashbacks to Mephs blood angels termi helmet "shuddder" i went and messed in the dungeon, good news i should be able to add a bridge to the top of the beak and forhead as opposed to shaving stuff off cheers meph good reference stuff will proceed with the frontal lobotomy forthwith lol

Thing is, in my humble opinion, that the helmet of marines, be it terminators or other armour, has always been the most iconic part of the models so they deserve the Goldilocks treatment. Hey, and once you've got the shapes in your fingers you can churn out like a sweatshop.
