Curse my irregular forum visits, I missed out on the Sergeant! I guess I\'ll go for the grenade launcher then.
Are we worrying about making legal units by the way? If so the special weapons support squad (the snipers) need an additional four blokes to go with the two already on the list to make it a full squad I think.
I\'ll try and get going at this on the weekend. It\'s about time I painted again.

@lono : Actually, we where kind of wondering how they worked with Mike, but didn\'t want to pass out on them since the minis look cool
. From what we saw in the codex, they appear to be regiment traits. If they\'re in the core part of the codex, then I missed that part (reread it at least 5 times and almost went bonkers about it since Cadia, Catachan, Tanith, ... seemed to have them . For now, lets count them as bonus minis and see how many get finished. The buyer could always use them as options with the other special/heavy weapons. If more troopers are needed, we can always figure something out after the GD and send additional models to Tracy.

@Bill : Concerning NMM, we did metalics last time for Paint Aid, so a little twist would be nice . I agree that the medic has a nice stance for a radio operator. But you\'ll need to hack him up a bit. Can you get that mini alone (without the rest of the command squad)? If not, just take a regular trooper and work up some radio rig.

I think you will find that as that is the comm link guy from the command box set Greenstuff is looking for a different version rather than duplicate models

Aaarrrrgggghhhhh not NMM I hate it I always fudge it up, oh well I\'ll give it my best but I can\'t promise very inspiring results.
A cool thing for the radio operator would be to convert it from the FW cadian one here:

Here is a few ideas for the radio operator if you are still struggling
I think stay with the medic conversion and turn him into a full operator with a larger than normal ground rig:
Some ideas on what to use on this would be the tank radio arials that come on one of the IG tank sprues also the Cadian sprues have a good sized radio as an optional backpack although I think maybe it looks better as a ground rig.
If you don\'t have the bits let me know I have a few hanging around

Do you think I could do the medic I\'m afraid I cant get to GD and I\'m not terribly good with NMM but I would like to try if I can. Pretty please?
Rob: incorporate a 1p coin into the sorresponding side of the base worked for me a while back.

@Rob : could you please try to fit the standad bearer on a 25mm base with a coin like suggested Bill? If he really keeps falling of or if you\'re planning to have him standing high, then yes, go for a 40mm base.
@Tim : Sorry, but judging from your last Space Wolf, I think you can handle the pressure.
