if you could do it all over again. Some of you may be young enough to get it right the first time...

I mean real career choices, not pipedreams like a Football player or a Playboy Photographer....

I think I might have liked to gone to Culinary school and become a Chef....

When I first graduated High School I wanted to be famous. Theater, movies, singing I just wanted to be famous.

I\'d like to think I\'ve grown up alot. Now I want to go into politics (laugh) but not the normal way. I\'m studying Environmental Policy and Political Science. I\'d like to influance global change as much as possiable.

and just to piss people off cause I know some of you can\'t stand it, I\'d be green savvy. lol

\"going green\" is a new term for the US (is it anywhere else?)

it means doing things ecologically friendly, but some people and companies use it for just about anything

anything?
Hollywood special effects.

Thought I wanted to be a fishing guide for a while. Then I went out with a few of them on not-great days.

Been there and done it. Too much like hard work and almost no social life. Not well paid in the main either.

...something arty. maybe graphic design...

Nope. Wouldn\'t bother with that either. Competition for any sort of job is horrendous and employers have the luxury of paying rock-bottom dollar for highly talented and skilled staff. Multimedia design is where the money\'s at currently.

I wished I\'d gone for a photography course instead of the painting/printmaking route. Would have been much more practical.

You stole my re-do! Before or after computers mud duck, doesn\'t matter to me. I\'d still want to build physical creatures and sets, miniature spacecraft and armor. Anything un-pedestrian needed for movies/film/tv. Mechanical effects and make-up.

Well the important thing is.. its never to late in life to pursue that dream.. well swim suit model is out for Vike lol , but in most cases why couldn\'t one take courses to become what ever you want to be. In a world where were living longer and working longer, Even at 40, retraining means 30 years in a new carrier if you wish.

ISO External auditor.

Get paid between 50% and 150% more then I do now. Travel around a local geographic area (close to home, but not stuck there). Have all expenses paid for. Get to a customer (read: Victem) and have your ass kissed for the entirety of your visit. Get fed the best food. Get asked out for free drinks. Then show up at the end of it and tell them how to do their jobs.

Note: went through an external audit today, and I\'m the Management Rep. for our Company. Right now the above looks to me like the perfect job.

Costume designer. Actually, I started studying for it when I got out of highschool but I ended up getting married. :-( Stupid me! Oh well.

Pipe dream carreer? I want to be Santa. I really really want to be Santa. I love giving presents and I\'d have my own workshop and everything. I\'d even settle for Mrs Clause given my gender. I actually look like her! :D

i second what spacemunkie said about bein\' an artist...the competition is tough, and the rates suck...it\'s not about gettin\' rich though...it\'s just about gettin\' to be your own boss, and do what ya love...

\'Going Green\' has been a european thing for the last 20 years or more, some european countries being more green than others. America is just playing catch up as usual.
