Who\'s famous that you know?

Well, I sort of knew Sagan, but he\'s dead now.
Marc Calderon would probably remember me if we ran into each other at highschool reunion, but we\'re not in touch (I knew Marc back then, but the other guys I\'d met but wouldn\'t say I knew...Brian, Sam and the other guy). Oh, and they probably aren\' t considered famous any more.
Oh, and I know David March. Well, he\'s not famous, but his work is. He won an emmy for animation of Animaniacs.
Oh, and I used to be friends with David Friedman, Stanford economist and son of nobel prize winner Milton Friedman (until David did something really sleezy and I won\'t talk to him anymore).

Saw Richard Whiteley from countdown in an airport in portugal. He was arguing over the price of a souvenir tea towel to a bemused shop assistant. Sad B*****d.
Saw Ryan Giggs at the hospital where I work after his wife had had a baby, very nice guy and down to earth.
Have been out for drinks with Ian Brown of stone roses fame a few times, he\'s my cousins\' friend\'s ex uncle.

Have a magnesium nodule collected from the bottom of the sea given to me by my uncle who got it from a member of Jacques Cousteau*s team.
Did a workshop with an American timber framer who built a lodge for Sigourney Weaver in the Adirondacks.

I got a letter from James Blish once, explaining why his Star Trek novelisations differed from the episodes in the original series. The letter was dated Jan 2*, 1975. He died in January, 1975. Coulda been one of the last letters he wrote.
Later on, I discovered his other works. Only famous person I\'ve had any interaction with.

Considering that Vike is the only person IN Iowa I guess he would count as the most famous. Now if you were talking about famous stalks of corn... lol
I do a lot of restoration work on old mansions/beach houses, and I\'ve worked for the Vanderbilts, Kodaks, Kennedys, and Shrivers. I\'ve never actually encountered any family members, however, since they stay away when the homes are being worked on. The (Maria) Shriver house in South Hampton is supposedly a favorite retreat for Arnold Sharzenegger, and I was doing work there when they were digging up the cesspool. I can honestly say that Arnold could NEVER EVER act like his S__T don\'t stink!

Doing some genaeology a while back I found out there was a book about the Lyon family (my last name) in Illinois and how they were big money and married in with the Vanderbilts. Then looking at the census reports for the town and saw the OTHER Lyon family - the local dry-goods merchant. Yup, my great great grandpa.
So no chance of me inheriting Vanderbilt money

He got arrested for some issue with a goat. He said is was \"consentual\".
He could funnel two beers while only swallowing once.
He smelled like a chicken house.
He changed the \"See Ruby Falls\" sign to \"See Ruby\'s Balls\".
And last but not least,
he could vomit at will.
