Levdir - Thanks for the comment,
Your Rackham model is looking fine so far, for a camera without macro mode thats a very good photo, the nmm is looking ok, but i think to make it more realistic there should firstly be stonger highlights, (ie more white) and secondly deeper contrasts (more dark grey), which would of course be where no light hits it, its a shame you\'ve already started painting it as there was an article writin recently that involved photographing the model before it was painted and using the actually reflection of light on the models blade while it was still just metal to help paint reallistic nmm, thats a tip for your next one, since it does work very, very well. Your blending on the whole is good so far, a useful techniques is to glaze areas which you feel aren\'t as smooth with that color, using very thin paint (and many glazes if need be) this helps to draw the different shades of colour together ands therefor makes it appear a smoother blend.
NetGuru - Thanks a lot! its a great encouragement to get this guy done, i wouldn\'t go as far as saying its some of the best senmm you\'ve seen (surely it isnt), but it\'s ertainly the best i\'ve done so far.
Tim - Thanks very much, it is an awesome sculpt i have to agree, Your Templar is looking very good so far, it\'s hard to tell at such an early stage but the face seems to have a lot of expression, the green areas are strong and vibrant. The blue areas arent finished yet are they?
If you can get it all to that standard it will be one amazing model.
Seth - we\'ll call it one all then, (a result i\'m happy to walk away with

)
I will look out for that book, i\'ll have a quick scoot round on ebay first, as i realise this area does need work,
I\'m looking forward to the article, should prove to be very helpful and if you could pm me that would be great,
Your guy is of course looking excellent, can\'t fault it at all, (apart from he has no hands lol but that\'s not really a fault if they will be added) can\'t wait to see it when its finished.
