Wow

She looks awesome Michelle. i really like the leaf motif on her cloak. Is her hair going to be white or have you already painted it another color? If it\'s gonna stay white you might want to add some kind og shading to make it stand out more....

Cheers,

what is it? it does look like a lotr orc/goblin. looks brilliant - am looking foreward to see how you do the eyes. have you done it over some kind of armature? i would imagine it would be pretty impractical and expensive to build it entirely from clay

Shameless Plug

Posted this earlier in the Paint Aid thread, well it is a WIP so I thought I would stick it here as well.

PaintAidOgreWIP.jpg

The pants were inspired by the Asterix the Gaul comic books and obviously they are based on the pants belonging to Obelix. Well as the deadline is rushing ever closer I better get back and get it finished.

Thanks Anders I like the way the skin came out. I did it the same as the Ogres in my own army which is pretty much the same as GW\'s only I don\'t go all the way up to Bleached Bone as I think that takes it up too much. I thought that the pants were quite funny too it may not fit in with the theme of the paint aid army but hey what the hell. This Ogre came across this big fat Gaul who fell in some potion as a baby and thought he was tough, well wh\'s wearing the trousers now.....:D

Very nice Ari! However, if you\'re going by normal human head anatomy, that ridge on the temple is a little strange. It is an orc after all though, so I can\'t really it\'s wrong per say.

@Ritual: To get the staff in focus, why don\'t you just take two pics in different focuses and combine the two? Post both and I\'ll even have a go :)

Oh yes! And the staff is quite a handful... As soon as CCV is over I\'m finishing it!

@DennisMech
That\'s an idea worth trying, if I can\'t manage otherwise...

First mini I\'ve painted in about 6 months, and even then, the first I\'ve actually tried to make look ok in the last year.

Looking good so foar Epoch, I would suggest you go a little further into the darker recessed areas with you highlight tone but that\'s just me.

Chaos Dwarf Iron Warriors

This is the WIP test model for a small 400pt force I would like to make.

They will be chaos dwarf iron warriors, on to the pictures.

A size comparison

I am particularly proud of the chainmail I sculpted on his leg

The Chapter marking

They will be red with black and white iconogrpahy and bronze piping, heavily weathered. I am still undecided as to basing so suggestions are greatly welcomed.

Cool idea abstract, can\'t wait to see them painted.

I\'m currently work on Gollum from the LotR range, and I\'m nearly finished, but I want to make eyes look misty. Should I paint them normal, and then do washes of white? OR paint them with paler colours? ??? I\'m stuck!
