They are very nice Scott, I think some rocky type ones would be good also for Warmachine as wooden decking doesn\'t quite fit for basing a couple of units of Warjacks but they certainly will go with my Mercanary Pirates. I\'ll drop you an order later. :D

Like the rounded bases Scott,,,good move.I would suggest a range of what you have of the other styles in the rounded edge.
How about square ones with rounded edges,they would look cool.

You will need one with wood shaving on btw.

Im thinking the sword needs a light source flash.Is the gold working?

Are those DarkWar bases inserts for the plastic bases or complete bases?

I think the sword looks nice, but maybe a flash-like highlight would improve it even further. The gold looks a bit pale, IMO. Especially on her left arm where the highlights are too big, I think.

@klute: your hamsters are so cute. i love them so much. the harem guard is very good too, but the gold on the left arm is too light.

I intend doing a flash on the sword and Im thinking of doing some freehand on the bracelets so it looks like its pressed.This will give it more surfaces to \"highlight\" .I hate doing nmm on faces like those.

That\'s probably a good idea adding freehand on the bracelets. It will be a lot easier to achieve a convincing metal look that way. Cute guinea pig, BTW... :D

@Ritual: The bases are all one piece - couldn\'t be arsed making inserts....

Got some slatey, rocky ones and some industrial ones with hatches and sludge pools. Those ones are looking pretty cool...:D

Hi this is my first attempt at a space marine im trying to paint him in the bright old school colours except not as bright if that makes sense anyway...what do you think any suggestions on improving him?He might look abit washed out because it was very very bright when i took the photo

I’ve final got round to trying to finish this model. My aim is to enter it in to GW Bristol Conflict Painting Comp. Trouble is I want to add a shield to the model and I am unsure which shield to go with. I was thinking of Using one of the empire knights shields because it fits in with medieval look I want to give my Black Templers. Has anyone else got an idea of a possible shield?

I didn\'t realize there was a huge thread already for WIP.

Here is a griffon done mostly in thin washes, glazes and lines with mixes of tube Liquitex burnt umber, Ti white, VGC cobra leather and VGC scorfolous brown. There are also some glazes of chestnut ink and brown ink and a little black ink here and there. the highlights are drybrushed but the tube paint stays pretty wet so it doesn\'t get chalky. The final highlights are done with thick opaque white.

robot thingy!

im currently working on making a robot thingy. so...no pictures until it looks like something.it should get pics up in a week or so.
hopefully sooner. :)
