Provoke me i note some little progress expecially on the shading from the previous picture. If i can give you some advice:
I see the ink on cherubs is not water diluited or little diluited, you must put more water on the brown ink to avoid those dark spots, the Celestine face looks well shaded, now it needs some highlights.
About the armour it\'s not bad, but the sword color looks a bit flat.
The blue drape is not ok but you\'re on a good way to master the highlight tech, just put the lighter blue on the whole surface of the tissue stripes you have already started, and eventually put another strate with a more light blue after that.
I note some progress anyway! keep on!

I thought about hyroglyphs but some of them are quite fancy for something of this size. Im not that good at small writing / small pictures yet. I suppose I could practice.

Have you seen the little owl\'s and birds very tough.

euh, is this english? no offence, but i didn\'t understand one bit of what you said there, apart from the black wash, you\'re worse than me with mistyping.....;)and that\'s saying something!

actually, it doesn\'t need a black wash as much as some darklining, and the reds can defenitely use another highlight or two. a good trick for painting metals is using a baseocoat od metallics, then use smoke from Tamia, or mix brown ink with a little chaos black qand glaze medium, diluted wth water, and apply that over the armour. ir gives you a fairly accurate shading on the metals, without creating too much contrast.

my camera isnt to good at showing whats good about the model...only the flaws...
i did dilute the flesh wash..but it decided to pool up and dry in certain areas!
as to the face...ooo faces scare me.
well im off to paint since i should probably wait until it gets dark to start wondering around asking for candy!
btw...when will i grow out of halloween? im already 17..almost 18 actually...

Here is my current work in progress, on the last steps smoothing and adding final highlights, however, I\'m really quite at a loss as to what to put on the banner, I\'d love suggestions!

it looks as if there is some kind of emblem/icon on the right arm at the top. see if you can somehow work that into it, maybe with writing around it.

ok, i finally managed to get my arse into gear and my camera working at the same time. this is a bust of lucius the eternal (from the adrian smith art book) that started off as a way of using up a load of spare cladium before it dried. it still needs a load of work and i\'m just still trying to get the basic shape done

This is my actual wip: it\'s supposed to be a pagan altar on the wilderness (or at least i think that :) )

planning to use it as base for a diorama that eventually will be my hopeless entry for groundforge competition.
Do you think i must add some scenic element?

Love that red EricJ. Is that highlighted to white?? Cant quite make it out.

As for the banner, I\'d personally go for a fairly plain black motive, as to not detract from the mini itself. But then I\'m not keen on overly-busy minis.
