Thats looking great toni still waiting for the Tute you wre going to do. Oh well as long as you keep turning out these great minis who really cares about a tute.I think the crest would look better brighter tho maybe of white or a golden brown color.

The purples looking better try mix gold and silver to highlight the gold metals and then use flesh wash to shade and tie the highlights in. I like the glowing eyes on the staff as well.

@Tagger - Love those purple robes man! I think I like this base better without the column.

@Tidicco - Tim that Cyborg is looking really good. I love your metals. The highlights on the wall are looking a little harsh to me. you might want to wash those down a bit. Look forward to seeing her finished.


Here\'s an update in my griffin...this thing is about to drive me to drink. ..

I\'m not happy with the claws, going to redo those...

I think that this is the last level of highlights I\'m going to do on the fur unless you guys tell me its not enough. Time to get started on the feathers....

@Grumb, that griffon is looking ace mate, as for the wall I have not realy decided what to do with it and the extreme highlights were just an experiment, I may redo the whole look of it and then graffiti it up or something like that.

Well I finally got my brushes wet again
I\'ve not been really happy with how they turned out, so I went back and added some chips(advise needed on those) and started to NMM the weapons

I love the old Grenadier Fantasy Warriors line barbarian miniatures, yet for some reason I have a huge pile of them that I have not painted. So I decided to start working on 2 of them, using similar colors to try and see if I could expedite my work and get 2 figures done quicker. All that is really done is the fur and leather parts so far, and the wood on the inside of the shields. Most of the metals will be gold or bronze with purple for the cloth parts.

The axe handle on the first one has a smooth spot in the woodgrain I just noticed, not sure what to do about that, looks like crap
