Well someone suggested it in the PYP threa, and I thought I would see if I could start a topic first.

Needless to say, my favourite food...

Chocolate.

Followed a close second by biltong.

No worries, I don\'t think anyone outside of SA actually knows what it is.

Basically it\'s dried meat. Wow, when you describe it like that it sounds so unappealing.

Sushi - My Fiancee\'s favourite. We used to go for sushi once a week.

Aha! You\'re not alone here, my friend. I\'m also a big fan of Mediterranean cuisine. Not very difficult to cook, marvelous to eat.

Apart from that, I like food that is spicy and hot. I wouldn\'t ever mind \"dead raw fish on algae\" (they never give enough wasabi and ginger with it ... *sigh*). And I like Chinese food, too. No meat though, thank you.

As I\'m Italian I say...

... PASTA!!! But be careful, not that strange pasta-like thing that you can find around the world... I mean REAL ITALIAN PASTA with real italian sauces!

yum yum!

Love sushi, love sashimi even more - yum!
Then there\'s nasi lemak, roti prata, lontong, and chilli crabs!

Damn it, I just ate dinner, too, now I\'m hungry again!

I love \"Brie de Melun\" spread on a genuine \"baguette\".
it\'s also called \"M\'lun\" by natives...
In heroic times there was also the infamous \"Butte de Doue\" and its 80 something % of fat matter...

 I see I have to be carefull what I mail on this list. Didn\'t think over at the PYP thread somebody would actually start this. :)

Anyway, favourite food? Hmm, hard to say. Right now it would be Ma-po tofu. Or it will be so again when I figure out where I left my cookbook with that one special recipe I liked. Got some in a tin, but I\'m hesitant to try that. Spring rolls in lettuca with a leaf of mint is nice too by the way.

As to sushi, best I\'ve ever had was in a tiny restaurant in the outskirts of Boston. The guys theres are master cooks. The way it was made creates such a subtle taste that I\'ve sat there for minutes after a bite just savouring. The taste went all around your tongue and every moment it was like a new sensation, a new taste. :)
Unfortunately this has meant that all sushi I\'ve ever had since just tastes boring to me. :(

The really scary thing isn\'t that someone started the thread, but how quickly it picked up responses.

Yup, it\'s kind of like jerky, but I have been told that it is much better.

I shall feast ont he flesh of the innocent.

Or, failing that, on the flesh of any animal at all. I don\'t care where it came from.
Thinking about it, it\'s quite easy to satisfy me/my appetite. Just heat it up and put it on my plate.

I really am not sure what I could call my favourite food. How about \"A sick mixture of eggs, mushrooms, a truckload of meat and maybe rice, seasoned with paprica and salt that looks like vomit laced with freshly ejaculated semen\".
It really tastes better than it sounds.
But basically, just cook anything and give it to me and the chance of me eating it is quite high.

I am not really that into food to be honest, which has unfortunatly led to eating problems in the past, so now its anything quick and easy to make sure I eat, normally pasta. sitting here trying to think of a favourite food but cant really, Vanilla Milkshakes count?
