Do I hear strains of the Bee Gee\'s \'Night Fever\' playing in the background there BME whilst you strut your stuff?

lol

I always say that if a mini screams out to be painted in a certain colour scheme with only one cursery glance, then it\'s a good mini!

Still trying to think of some minis I\'d like to see made (apart from my usual wants of WWII, moderns and fantasy R&F!).

:D

sorry

I am not the hot dark haired babe on STS
Natascha is the Goddess who hosts that site, lives in Austria, likes playing RPGs and painting minis. I think she is still single.;)

Getting to be a number of very nice painted Spyglass minis on this site now. Matt Verzani has just loaded his superb Shae: Half Elf Archer. Check it out (and mine, Ramon Laan\'s and Nejoho\'s).

Really great minis...really great paint jobs...

Mine arrived this morning and I have to say they are really are great.

Trouble is I have just spent 10 minutes holding them up to the images supervike linked to above and felt sick as a pig.

Those guys/gals have bought out detail that I can\'t even see...and then... they\'ve gone and given it shade and highlights.:wow:

Mine have arrived today, as well. Just had a cursory look at them and the casting is better than the Amazon figures that came with them.
Steve your sculpting is great. Hope to see you in person at GD. Perhaps I might be able to give you a run for your money this year. lol Who am I kidding!lol

Just have to concur wih what Finn and Mr. Reach said. I got mine over the weekend and the casting is excellent, almost zero flash and no blemishes that I\'ve seen.

Also, as Finn said, looking at the beautiful jobs done on them by others and me with my meager talents, I\'m tempted to hide them and pretend I never ordered them.

That might not be such a bad idea...

Looking at those beautiful images and looking at the lump of lead in my hand, I am on the verge of agreeing with you.

I was just admiring the beautiful wood grain effects on the bow and when I look at the mini itself, I have to squint to see the damn thing at all.

Opticians for me tomorrow:bouncy:

\'Mr Reach\' wow formality on this site \"NAH\".

As for the mini\'s there\'s only one thing to do really and that is paint them Some mini\'s love the paint and no matter what you do to them they will always look good.
Give it a go and surprize yourself.:D

Still waiting for my models to arrive! Getting all excited now. Anyone know how long it takes these things to get to the UK?

:D

Well, Finn and Dragonsreach have theirs so I\'d guess your Succubus wont be far behind.

And Finn, I\'m not sure what you mean. If you have to squint to see the bow then I suggest a trip to the optitions :D If you mean you have to squint to see the wood grain ON the bow then it\'s no wonder. There is no woodgrain sculpted on, it\'s all just paint effects.

yeah and quite a surprise as well.
My wife saw the packet and said:\"What\'s the mini\'s\" instead of \"What have you bought now?????\".
Maybe I\'ll get her to start painting. Though on second thoughts, knowing my luck, she\'ll probably win the slayer sword on her first competition entry.lol

Are they there yet, are they there yet....

You folks are getting me all excited to get those minis in my hands. Mine haven\'t arrived yet but I got the e-mail that they were shipped. I enjoyed painting the CMON Amazon and can\'t wait to get the elven archer and start....:bouncy:

Steve, any plans to sculpt some dwarves???

Cheers,
Grumb

You get a notice when they are shipped? Fantastic--now I can stop checking my credit card balance and my order status like a obsessive-compulsive minipainter.. ;) Horray!

shipping methods and eta

Mine was supposedly sent on August 13.
Great.
But six days is a bit long for a package to ship via USmail within the US.

Priority mail takes 3 days at the most (mostly) and First class is maybe a day later (mostly). I base this on the experience of hundreds of packages sent by me and dozens of orders recieved by me.

I have not given up, sometimes things move slowly, and if they use UPS or another private Co it could take longer.

I would like to know which method is used.

Most of them are sent by USPS first class or Priorty mail... we batch them when we ship them, so it might have shipped a day or 2 after your email.. either way, you should be getting them soon, if not, please let me know and I will dispatch another one to you.

Mine were shipped out the 12th, and I got them today, after checking the mail box anxiously for a week lol I\'m not complaining, just letting you all know.

Beautiful sculpts, too, and no problems here with the casting. But they look itty bitty compared to the ones you see painted on CMON.:D And the archer kinda shocked me. From the pics, I thought she was short-haired. Pleasant surprise to see all that flowing hair down her back.

Nice job Steve! You can count another satisfied customer.:bouncy:

They\'re here, they\'re here!!!

I arrived home today to find the Spyglass mini\'s I ordered in my mailbox. Hurray, Hurray... now I just have to find the time to paint them....
The casts are very clean. Very little flash on them. Won\'t take long to clean and prep.

Nice sculpts Steve, looking forward to seeing your next creations...

Cheers, Grumb:cool:
