Nice sculpts Steve, looking forward to seeing your next creations...
I second that statement Steve, I didn\'t get a chance to do any painting last night, cos it was too late when I got home. So I dug out the mini\'s and had a good look at the \'Shea the elf archer\'. On top of the VIC#9 that\'s to be worked on, She\'s just gone to the top of my must do now list! Bright new shiney toys syndrome, I\'m afraid!:D

some timing issues but....

Yay, I got mine Yay!
And I must say I am very happy with the miniatures themselves.

But, as I stated earlier, I got the notification of shipment on the 13th of August. But they were postmarked the the 19th. Ahem, that\'s not cool. And a little cruel ;)
Like a child I anticipated the trip to the mailbox with great glee for a week more than I should have.

Anyway, great minis, please make more!

Well, I\'m overjoyed that everyone is receiving their figs and that you\'re so happy with them. I hope to see a load turning up in the galleries soon

Now then, more to sculpt I suppose.

I got mine this past Friday as well; I was a little disappointed that it took so long for me to get them, but I was glad that they were sent USPS and not UPS. I\'ve had terrible experience with UPS recently. :(

Looking forward to getting some paint on them, but I need to get the CMoN figure done, and then the VIC figure, and then Kordius the Slayer done... ;) So it will be a little while for me to get going, but my girlfriend starts her classes next week, so I\'ll have a little more freetime soon.

Here\'s my version of Katalyn: succubus
http://www.coolminiornot.com/?id=30608

The miniatures are really clean end easy to paint, I have to say that IMHO they are the best female figures in 28mm I have seen around.

I\'m working on Shea now and I will upload the pic as soon as possible.

Nice job!!!

I just looked at your \'succubus\' paolo.

I have to say, very nicely done.

It is funny that I noticed you on the \'forums\' as I just referred to one of your postings in another thread.

They were talking about Christmas based miniatures, and I remember you had a really cool one....

Check out the \"ho ho ho, lets kill them all\" thread.

Nice one...

The wings are great and I just love the evil, but slightly suggestive expression you have given her.

Okay guys and gals, it seems that a good few of you have now received your figures. How about popping on over to the online store and adding some reviews of the product (due to modern technology, we have this facility  )

Don\'t be shy now :)

In fact I have been so inspired, I started on the elf straightaway. Thanks for such a cool couple of sculpts SJB :bouncy:

Still waiting for mine. They have supposedly been shipped so hopefully I\'ll have them soon. It\'ll be nice to sit and paint something just for the pure pleasure of it.

Here\'s another one.. Shae: Half Elven Archer
http://www.coolminiornot.com/?id=30956

What I can say.... I love her face and pose, the only drawback are the cape folds that make me a hard time drawing the leaves pattern ;o)

P.S.
Thanks to Supervike and Finn for the nices words about Katalin

P.P.S.
And now I have to start with Kage... maybe I have to try with some tattoos...

Woohoo!

Got my minis this morning. I bought the succubus and the CMON mini. They are very nice sculpts. I can see why Mr Buddle takes his time to sculpt. Quality takes time (same with painting - I\'m not always 100% happy with stuff I have to rush!).

The cast of the CMON mini is quite pitted though, but hopefully that should disappear under numerous coats of paint. I\'ve got a few ideas floating around as to what I want to do with the two minis (painting wise that is!). Really not sure what to do with the bases though. Still, plenty of time to decide as I\'m too busy to start them just yet anyway.

Nice one SJB!

:D

I got my Spyglass minis yesterday (I live in faraway Italy, you know!) and I love them! :flip:

I like even the barbarian, which is curious because I\'m not very much a fan of this particular category...
What is \"barbarian\" after all? There were so many populations, and each of them had its own peculiarities... a Viking was certainly very different from a Hun, yet they were both \"barbarians\". Even in fantasy, I\'ve always resented the \"barbarian = half-naked guy with ballooned muscles\" stereotype... and yet, I like this sculpt! The anatomy\'s very accurate and proportioned (which is a rare enough feature in minis), and he looks somewhat like Tarzan... :)

No need to comment on the archer gal and the succubus, they\'re wonderful!

Vidja - Glad you liked the Barbarian. I put a lot of work into him to make him better than just a \'bog standard barbarian\' so your praise is appreciated :)

And a big thumbs up to Dragonpaint for painting him

There you go! Are there any Tarzan minis out there? That would certainly be an interesting idea.

Ral Partha had a Jungle Lord figure out for a while - I dont know if Iron Winds is putting him out yet - RAFM might have him as well -

Tarzan

Thunderbolt Mountain Miniatures has a few 54mm Tarzan figures. On another note does this look like it has ponytails on it? :)D)
