Plaguebringer

This little project originally was born as an idea to do a really impressive Imperial War Wagon/War Altar with an imposing griffon statue and a massive pulpit for a preaching Grand Theogonist or such… Which just goes to show what the corruptive influence of chaos can do to your mind: The imperial design got changed into a spiky chaos appearance and then even further away into the slimy offending looks of a nurgle war machine. This does not mean the imperial rolling pulpit is dead, however, who knows... These pictures are however not the final mini as I have decided to sculpt a Banner (or two) for the cart itself and the driver is to be replaced for a more unobtrusive mini as I think he draws too much attention away from the cauldrons´ occupant. Finally, of course, there is some paint to be splotched on. (All of this is to be posted shortly hereafter, so stay tuned!) The whole thing took me quite some time to do as there were so many separate components to sculpt, but in the end I think it was worth it. All of the sculpts were done with “magic sculp” with some few GW-bits and pieces (I just love the Chaos Warriors´ helmets). I hope you like my chariot/palanquin and would appreciate any comments! Thanks beforehand and Happy Painting!

Father Nurgle would be proud of this pestilential terror you've constructed. I would like to see some close ups of the cauldron, riders, and standard bearer though. Over all great work.
