Khador Juggernaut Warjack

This is another of my warjacks from the Khador boxed set for Warmachine. Great fun to paint. I used the same techniques as on my Destroyer for the same force. I wanted to achieve a realistic sense of battle damage and weathering as I envision these monsters are tough to keep in perfect order in the field. Moving parts wear down, paint chips, oil leaks, iron gets rusty... its all a part of being an engine of doom in my eyes. Anyhow I am happy with the result. The banner is sculpted from greenstuff, and the weathering was done with chalk pastels and/or thin ink washes. Its not highlighted as starkly as many other models are these days in the same scale, but again I was after a more realistic and dirty look.

To quote Peter Griffon, that is "Freakin' sweet". I especialy like the banner you added to his back. How did you make that?

Nice. Very realistic.... nicely battle-worn too. It would be nice to see it on a plain white background to make him stand out more. But still very impressive :D
