There were a lot of frustrations with this miniature for me. The sculpted details are numerous and small and very close together. I also complicated things with a head swap as I really don't like the hooded head the model comes with. I wanted a full elf face with raven black hair to go with the deep blue/black cloak. The conversion was simple and looks natural enough but there are a number of aspects I am unhappy with in my paint work on this figure. No more black primer for me, its making me lazy and I'm mis-painting details due to lack of visual clarity stemming from a black undercoat ;) The best part of this figure for me are the interesting metallics. I blended a nice purple up to gold on the sword and leg greaves. It gives it a real antique/otherworldy metal appeal I think without being terribly overt. I also like the flower tucked behind her ear :) Not my best work, but a suitable quality gaming fig.

great work, well above "tabletop quality"! I love the converted head, but it looks just a little "off"... I can't quite place it, maybe it should be forward and down a bit? Nothing that you can change now, so no worries. Excellent job!

Great Idea cool painting and overall a good painting job combined, gives a 9. The metall is very cool from violett starting. will copy that on my figs

I say keep the colors. Purple in the bayonet works. The only thing that keeps this from a higher rating from me is that the highlight accents, like on the left arm panels and the main sword blade, are a bit too thick to work when they are that strong a contrast.
