WIP Bloodreaver: Careful shading on the skin and highlighting, shading and blending on the pants. It's my first time trying to shade/blend for highlights. I have to tweak it, but I really like the results so far.

Ahh blending, a harsh technique to try and tame, it's taken me a long time to get it looking good and I still wouldn't say I can do it perfectly, I think on his trousers the contrast is pretty good, I would personally use glazes between the 2 colours to try and blend them but that's the method I've practice most
I'm hoping to work on that today. I'd like to tone down the butt and thigh areas on the trousers.

Work on the Bloodreaver continues. Finished the reds. Did the boots and leather today. They may need some clean up, but over all, pretty happy with the result.

The Dark Angel StormTalon has been sitting on my desk FOREVER, so I figured I should just get it done. Some little details left and will do a desert type base, but most of the major work has been completed. my goal was to make a dusty, sand blown vehicle. Not sure how well I did with it, LOL.

After life intervened and taking a long hiatus from Painting, including trying to teach myself the ins and outs of Airbrushing, I decided to start over again and paint a Primaris Reiver. I have about 50 Infinity Yu Jing models to paint, but am not the painter I want to be just yet to really do the job I think those models deserve. Yet.

Work continues on the Primaris Reiver SM. I damaged the plastic of one of the pouches so it looks weird. I avoided taking a picture of that side. I also realized I have a love hate relationship with Vallejo paints. Love the colors, hate the texture of the paint and how they thin on a palette. More work done on the Reiver. I'm practicing glazing and blending techniques and NMM on a test model (not this one). It's really tough to get them right!

Trying to learn NMM and have been practicing for a couple of weeks. Struggling really. Somehow, it came together today and this is what I cam eup with. Pretty happy with it. Still a lot more practice to smooth things out and be able to pull it off consistently.
