A word about Ilyad Miniatures......

I agree. They are starting to look better than Rackham to me.

The biggest problem is that they are resin. I don\'t know how to strip them if I make a mistake.

LOL I find the models daunting because of a) their size (the barbarian Avicenna did for example is tiny but has so much detail or in the case of the minotaur, he\'s huge!) and b) the level of detail they can achieve with resin casts. Funnily enough, they aren\'t brittle though and are easy to prep - make sure you give them a nice wash in soapy water to remove the mould release agent (sorry if I\'m teaching my grandmother to suck eggs with that last bit!). But you must get one and obviously let us see how you get along with it :)

Hey Ebonbuddha...I think nail varnish remover works but I could be wrong. Also, I think its not a case of dipping the whole figure but using a cotton bud soaked in the stuff....

Ok. Thanks. That is going to be tough to get here in Korea. Alot of stuff we take from granted just isn\'t here. Maybe when I get back home to Canada. Until then, I will have to buy some and store them.;)

I can safely say that Gamer\'s Quest seems like a very reliable business! On page 1 of this thread, five days ago, I mentioned ordering an Ilyad mini from them and today it arrived! Very happy about that! I\'m going to buy more stuff from them. Cheap postage it was too... :flip:
