Hello, I seem to have missed a bit. A lot can change in a week!

Well done one on the lovely Chibi. A fox Chibi would be very cute. And a Chibi yeti immediately makes me think of the abominable snowman from Monsters Inc.

Well done on the commissioned work too. Everyone's getting commissions! It's nice to see.

@bgcdazzler - Welcome back! Glad you like Aradicus and Pickles. It's really more of a favour than a commission, but it's been a fun challenge to keep fiddling to a minimum to meet the level of detail required.

@oistene - Thanks. He's pretty cool. :)

@Digga - I'll get to one for you. :)

I've decided to base the fox on a bat-eared fox which is one of the species indigenous to Southern Africa. Here's a couple of pictures for you guys to get an idea:


I'm not going to anthropomorphise him. I think keeping him cute with those huge ears will work well.

@meaty_nosebleeds - Let's wait to see what I manage to bash together before we get too ahead of the game. Plus I've done some research into moulding and casting materials and they are damn hard to find for hobby use in this country for some reason.

@Digga and @WGS - I'm glad that two of my sculpting gurus approve. :)

@meaty_nosebleeds - They're good parts of the world, but yeah, sometimes it would be nice to have the ease of access of our US and European acquaintances.

*sigh* Don't get me started on exchange rates. And the stupidity of our president that nearly turned our currency into a junk one at the end of last year.

But we make a plan and persevere in this fabulous hobby of ours!

oh gosh and I thought our pm was bad! My condolences to you mate. My shipping stuggle is more to do with how damn hard it is to get stuff into this little island than exchange rates but I feel you there.

on the bright side, we'll probably be the ones who make some major breakthrough with ease and efficiency in the hobby because of our situations and go down in the hall of fame, so at least we've got that to achieve!

So I just got to see aradicus and pickles in the clay and can safely say that the pictures do NOT do them justice. I think our little ArchArad has found her calling... In a big way.
