Gosh, I couldn't ask my wife to do that. Besides, she isn't bald.
A bit more Sprogrot painting, including eye 2.0:
I'm happier with the little crescent in this eye. Just need to make the pupil a perfect circle, and this should be done.
The he other eye is proving tricky. I made it more milky and weepy, but need to do a lot more to this one to make it work. Might need to use some UHU effect on it, but I'm not sure.
I have to say I'm pleased with this picture though - this is pretty much the expression I wanted to capture on his face - a sort of smug, lazily pleased with himself look - and I'm so happy that it has worked. There are lots of flaws and naivety in the sculpt (I'm writing copious notes!), but all in all this picture makes me think the results are not too bad.
Bit mor shading on the face. I've upped the green, and highlighted the lip and chin. There's a lot of painting, but not much difference. Ah well: isn't that always the way?
and the other cheek is done:
started working on the rusty old helmet, here:
a bit more helmet, plus laying down the initial rough pattern for doing the backs of the ears:
that was a bit longer than I thought it would be. Sorry about that.
