All right, I am done! Really glad I motivated to do that. I have to thank Bailey for getting me fired up to turn something in. Now I can start my Wrath of kings project.... What!?!

Great looking base. I like the little touches like the purple inside the plants. You've still got 3 minutes until the deadline. Wanna sculpt a snake or dragon fly or something?

Haha, I thought about a snake, but it turns out most pacific islands don't really have them. Who knew? Some flowers or a butterflies would be cool. I dabbed some red on one of the tiki's eyes instead.

Everything you do gets better and better. Good luck in the Voodoo hoodoo that you do :) Really looking forward to your WoK stuff too.

The tiki heads are from a novelty ice cube tray. Food (or ice) molds work great with resin and plaster.

Someday I am going to get some of those super ornate angel molds for wedding cakes, cast them in plaster, smash them with a hammer, and make bases for a Space Marine army.... some day. :)

Nice, stuff! Low stress minis rule. I can't believe how well things turn out when you just let go and paint. The freedom to try new things seems to help them along and I feel like the more fun little projects I do the better i am getting. Clearly it is the same for you because these are just looking so cool and stylized :)

Yeah Zab, thanks! Something else I have been looking at is the Pathfinder RPG art. The artist will basically just paint everything one color with an accent color and it looks great. So I am doing soem under painting and then just washing everything brown, basically. I never painted armies so I might be coming to this from a different direction than some folks on this forum, definetly a slump beater though :)

What material are you using to cast the tiki

GG, I used dental plaster, which is cool stuff, but actually pretty over-kill, it dries really hard. If I did it again I would just use cheap casting plaster from the art store. The trick is smashing it and then gluing it back together so it looks good and cracked.

Here are some pathfinder pics:

Oh wow, i love that art work! I can see where you are coming from now. Thirdeyenuke does the same thing over on tale of painters and so does Awaken realms with their stuff. I'll have to look into trying that style out in the future :)

Love the pathfinder artwork. Trying to get my wife to play the skull and shackles card game with me now, but its proving quite the challenge lol.
