Thanks guys!

I was a little dubious on the color scheme, I tried to keep the green subtle, but as you can see, it comes out on the cloak. Her back story is that she is an elvish paladin who got Geas'ed by a Dryad. So now she unwillingly quests for this forest spirit. So I wanted to try out the grey skin and the light blues along with green shading. My first go with the legendary Tamiya Clear for some blood effects for the focal point on the knife. If I were going to work more on it I think I would glaze more blue into highlights on the cloak and more green into the blue shadows.

Canny, I hear what you are saying about the face, It might look better in a better photo but the hood puts the face in shadow. Does look awful blue in the pic though, huh?

With the story, maybe a violet on the cheeks?(bigger contrast with out going to white). But if its fine irl all good.

Here is a 'better' pic. This one looks great in hand, The cape is very 3 dimensional, it really makes you want turn her around and look from different angles.

Course they can. Rule of thumb for being a paladin, have to have a stick up their ass, so ALL elves are natural candidates hahaha.

Aren't those going to be "impaladens"? xD xD

Hahahaha!!! Yes!!!!!

A special shout out to Demi. This guy has taken the time to help me with photo rolls with all of my minis. I've been too cheap to buy a new computer (scheduled for July) and Demihuman has been kind enough to patiently build such wonderful photo products for me. Very good results every time! Thanks a million!

Okay, starting a new project! yay! This will, hopefully, be my entry for the Wrath of Kings contest here on CMON. I picked up an Ashman Banner holder from House Nasier. I have been hankering to try my hand at some banner painting and this seemed like a good opportunity.

Before I started painting my banner I wanted to come up with an idea of what to paint on there. My first thought was boobs... it usually is :), but seriously I thought that a pin-up type picture on the banner would be a cheap way to net me a few more votes. The House Nasier faction has the Pelegarth Bloodmasks units that are bikini ladies with swords and masks and I thought that would make a good subject, so I was looking around for a good, voluptuous female figure to copy and ended up over at the Kingdom Death page looking at the Twilight Knight and I had an idea! Check it out:

The Ash Knight! I think it jives with the fluff pretty well that the Twilight Knight could put on the ash mask, but if anyone is up on their Wrath of Kings background stories please chime in.

Here is my start on the banner. I originally tried to paint the image onto a grid I had drawn on the banner but that proved to be way too hard. So instead, I printed out a tiny Ash Knight, covered the back with with soft pencil and then transferred the outline onto my banner using a hard pencil.

Here is what I made for a base. It's 40mm. Sort of a destroyed steam works was my idea. Again I hope that works for the Wrath of Kings setting. BTW If voluptuous bikini warriors are not your thing, you may want to try a google image search on "steam works." Not a lot of good source material for my base, but plenty of reference materiel for beefy male skintones :/

I'm somewhat updated on WoK fluff - and I think it works. But is the model allowed in the contest? Is there enough WoK parts?
