the armor is all scratched as is the bike, but the weapons are not, just a small detail that you might wanna check out, otherwise, man those look damn good!
Have not updated this baby thread in a while... been painting like a slave lately but here is an update with the squadron\'s Vet SGT included. Just a small taste of what I hope my whole Army will look like when it is done. The SGT is not complete yet. I have small issues to get settled with him and will be done soon. Thanks for the feedback everyone!
very cool, I have heard rumours that to use an all ravenwing army you must include the master of the rasvenwing, either in a land speeder, with armour value of 14 all round or on a JETBIKE with plasma cannon slung on the underside!
Well, something like that. The rumors are not completely clear yet but pretty much the Master of the Ravenwing I have made already will be of no use with the new Codex which comes out in April/May timeframe. This gives me a bit more room for my imagination when I make a MotR again!!!
Ok... I give up so I have to make up an excuse for the weapons... Marines take better care of their weapons than they dotheir bikes and armor, also, military vehicles never keep their weapons mounted, they are stored in an arms room where the tech priests and servitors make them look as good as new every time they come back from battle... there I just told all of you why... lollollol
I could not come up with a better excuse because as I was thinking I thought of NANO\'S SPACE MARINE where his servitor is working on his stuff... I also thought af how it actually is in the military where we could be all dirty but our weaapons are always clean. The vehicles and body armour will work dirty but a weapon won\'t...lollollol
Man they look so great that it\'s gonna be in my best interest to learn the few tecniches needed to acheive a couple of level\'s near your work. GREAT WORK
They are fantasic i love the colour choices.
Was wondering was you did for the black because the scratches are darker than the armour? Also how did you do the red on the bolters? Much appreciated.
They most definately rock dude! That\'s going to be a very nice army when it\'s finished in 20 years! I know from experience how much trickier it is to do those scratches on black too so well done for that. There are a few too many on the Chaplain\'s skull helmet though I think.
Obviously it\'s difficult to say exactly until the new codex is out, but what sort of army list are you planning on using? Lots of speeders to come or more bikes?
They look fantastic together - really well themed, and awesomely well-painted. An extremely impressive group I saw the new DA jetbikey thing at GD winners\' day, and it looked friggin\' awesome... I\'d like to see you paint that. Even if it did take you 20 years
