GW Employees

I was recently in my local GW store when I noticed, all of the employees there are tight-arses who can\'t take jokes and don\'t like random discussions that people have. They also tend to think everything is tabletop quality except for demon winners works. Is it just my GW or are there others?

This guy I met in the anime room at Toronto Trek Con told me his brother\'s roommate\'s cousin used to work at the GW store in Liechtenstein and he said they are required to eat babies to maintain their youthful complexions.

All of the GW employees at my local GW store is kinda strange. They spend all day talking about Monthy Python and imitating Austin Powers lol.

The chaps in my local GW store at Canterbury Kent U.K. are alright, very Very helpful. Mind you they know me now, and as my wife and daughter usually get my mini\'s they are pleased to see them!!!!! Initially they were a little bit annoying, trying to boast about their painting skills, the usual big headed juvenile banter, and hard sales tactics. with the smell from some of the customers being a little heavy at times, and the music a bit predictable. However they know their stuff when I ask them questions, and are always on hand with the info if needed. I think I can say I like them!!!!!

All the guys at my GW are very friendly and helpful, although some might be a little over-enthusiastic. I think they\'re great!

That is quite the difference from my local store. The guys at my shop know one game and one game only 40K. Go in and ask them about anything else and they have just cursory knowledge. I remember showing up with rules questions when I picked up WFB nth edition and being given incorrect answers \"No a mounted character cannot join a unit on foot\" sticks out from that time period.

They also have no knowledge of other GW licences like Black Library or Black Industries, if it wasn\'t a Gaunts Ghosts novel they had no clue what you were talking about.

It was sad really, as they definately lost some buisness from me because of it. When I go in asking questions thinking of making a purchase and get told \"I dunno, but check out these new plastic Terminators\" I make my purchase elsewhere.
