Just lurking around and just thought of something @andy g you know what really would stand out , well my skills are very basic but Andy if your priest is going to be in a dungeon setting illuminated by torches , keep in mind what I'm suggesting is way above my skills as a miniature painter , but maybe you could pull it off. How bout a monochromatic lighting effect. The way I'm seeing it in my minds eye everything catching the light from the torches. I think that would be fantastic if you , and I'm pretty sure you can, get those effects. Now that's really outside the box eh!?

BAM that's a cool idea and one that I've been mulling over for a while however this one is already painted with flesh tones and purples browns yellows already; it'd mean me stripping it and starting again so I'm afraid that's going to be a no. However next dungeon mini hmmm could be!

Also I am still in on this damnit. Just need a couple weeks to start. I won't be able to go full display base to make up for lost time, but I'm still in....

Yeah lee looks fantastic but honestly I don't know why I can't put a finger on it maybe its the color, but the checks I'm not feeling IMHO. Everything else especially the robes and flesh are fantastically painted.

Like the checks. Can I ask how you do his hair like that? It looks so real. Please don't tell me it's just a glaze with a dark brown. No way that's how you achieved that texture.
I was just going to do a little bit on my TMM version yesterday......ended up painting the whole thing in one session. D'uuuur
Now have to work out a base and possibly tweak the freehand.......
Don't think he'll photo too well, used a very dark Violet-Red/Black combination for the robe.

Looksike ten ball is gonna win this from my eyes the painting is just so wonderfully done , the cliche red cloak has been taken way outside the proverbial box by adding the wonderfully flowing sharp freehand and again in my HO that winderful subtle shades and highlights of the nmm are perfect to say the least. Again just my view and my opinion but I really live 10 balls version . Their all expertly painted by all means however. Andy's is fantastic as well and the rest are all just as good to be in the great co. Of such great artists. Way to go all you guys.
