Tell me one good thing about the UK today...

The weather wasn\'t half bad when I was in the UK. What I couldn\'t handle was the short summer nights. I\'m a night-owl, my brain only starts to waken when the sun goes down, and sleep at realistic times of the day became an issue.

Give me South Africa any day, guaranteed at least 8 hours of complete darkness. Five hours of darkness isn\'t exactly what I\'d call \'enough feeding time\'.

Have to admit Mod i\'m a Night person too. I don\'t do early mornings...Well I do, but I get paid for that..that\'s not the point...

I wish it was darker when it\'s light and light when its darker. I want rain when its sunny and sun when it rains! I don\'t know what the hell I want anymore!
I need a good woman to sort me out...And feed me...:(

Sure do, but only if your a good man:D

Just sat down on the white cliffs of dover, its 27degrees c, no wind, and watched the ships go out the harbour to France on a twinkling sea. The ocassional cricket churping!!
Now thats as good as it gets for me, especially with my good woman sunning herself next to me:D

i personaly love the standard british weather.

it\'s far easier on the painting and i can\'t stand the heat or high humidity.

besides, with our weather we have some of the most fertile land in the world. (untill the goverment manages to eventualy build on it!)

I like you, TBS, otherwise, I\'d tell you about this kappa-slapper bint that lives in Newport. Best you hunt your haggii by scaring them to death when you lift your kilt.

I don\'t miss the English women one single scrap, but the Scots, now they\'re toothsome! :D

Actually, the best thing I can think of right now is the traditional autumn we get and the harvest time. It\'s not unique, but the reds and golds and oranges and browns and clear blue skies. Then, after that, it gets a little chillier and that\'s just as nice. Jackets, bobblehats, dark by 6...

The best feeling is having a pub dinner, a pint or three and then stepping out into a crisp, clear autumn evening. Winter the same for that matter. There\'s nothing nicer for the senses.

Soooo...Tell me about this kappa-slapper bint?! Sounds intreguing...
Actually don\'t. Theres more than enough of those round here thankayou! ;)

There are some bonnie lassies in scotland, aye, theres a lot of bridges too! And that means trolls!
:(
And ye cannea scare a hagis! They\'re no feart \'o anythin\'! All teeth and arseholes they are, fearsome beastie a hagis!
You have to hunt the buggers under a pale moonlit sky downwind,( for \'tis when they are most vunerable) and make sure your dirks sharp and your targ\'s secure...

Or you can take them out from a mile away with a Barrat, but wheres the fun in that?! ;)

One good thing about broitain today is that I slogged my way through the old-people infested, rain-soaked streets to buy an anniversary present for my wife. (not good so far) I spent an absolute fortune on a card she\'s only going to read once. (still not exactly happy-happy) Then went to Thorntons to buy her favourite chocolates and had to queue for ages. (is this going anywhere good?) Then, when I finally get to hand over my hard earned cash... they give me 4 FREE chocolates - :bouncy: - they were nice. So, my good thing about Britain today is free chocolate! :D
