Both of you are doing a masterful job! I like that Uberdatk has made a piece that looks like orks just slapped some metal together in a fashion that would scare the heck out of an enemy. Plus I love all of the exhaust pipes!!! I reminds me of my battlewagon and the old video game that made me fall in love with vehicles with lots of exhaust pipes, Full Throttle.

And Sukigod you are in a class all of your own. Your conversions are so sophisticated and clean. You easily convert a vehicle completely from scratch and produce casts of it to sell. I love all the detail in the panels and my mouth dropped when I saw the irregular I beams that made up the gaurd rail on the rear of the rhino. Very creative

Great job to the both of you! I am waiting with great anticipation to see these two minis fully painted. Let me know next time you do a thread like this. I would love to participate

all the way to golden yellow my friend. i start with chaos black, scorched brown, scab red, mechrite red, red gore, blood red, fiery orange, golden yellow... so i guess i one upped you and did 8 colors first

well i got a bit more done tonight. i\'m watching dexter with the wife tonight and will get some pics up tommorrow. starting adding more to the pipes and finishing up the red on the top and started the sides now. so until tomorrow morning around 8:00 am uber signing out.

Got in some time tonight - it\'s all in the details now.... I so feel liek Ubers just so far ahead of me but I gotta remember the challenge goes untill the end of Dec. I\'m on track to finish the build by the end of the weekend which puts it at two weeks to paint (oh my god...)

Here\'s where it\'s at tonight - got the tanks added and tubing started for the front (when I want to add the scorcha), the back end finished, armor plates started adn the big shoota mount in the front hull. Definately a compact package here.

got some more painting done last night. and got to watch dexter the thrid episode of season 2.... its getting pretty good.
as for painting i started up the metals and still need to brown and oxidize the brass to a more green in areas. the colors of reds are going on fine as well. i am going to be sculpting the lay-z-boy chair tonight but need to know a knind of putty to use other than greenstuff. i cant get it from the store since they are out and i wanted to start tonight. so anyhow wihtout further ado here you go.

Well, if you can make the easy chair removable, then Sculpey is probably the easiest putty to find. You just have to throw it in the easy bake oven to get it to harden, and I wouldn\'t do that with it on the model!

@Uber: Some more highlights on the reds I think will help a lot on making the thing pop. You could also deepen the shadows using black glazes to add to the effect.

BTW next time anyone does anything like this I\'ll be happy to except the challenge .

@junior: really? i took the color all the way up to golden yellow in spots. i am planning on adding some more warmer reds in other spots though. thannks for the advice. should have an update up tomorrow.

You did go up all the way to yellow but they are so thin and rare that I really had to look for them to find them. I couldn\'t do better myself and I am being just picky but after all that\'s why we are here right (not being picky, giving C&C).

DONE! ...with the building anyway....

Finisjed the build today - I also took my \"Final Pics\" before realizing I forgot the smaller rivets around the rest of the model - sheezh. I\'ve added all my gubbins, chains, details. All I have to do now id prime and paint. No more talking, here\'s he pics....

Dang - as I look at these before posting, I notice I didn\'t hit it with the Dremel yet - Aaarrghh! I\'ll ahve to hit it tomorrow before priming. S&$*!
