Well done everyone :beer: Another good haul for the CMON crowd by the looks of things...
I wish I could have come, but I had, and still do have, an absolute mountain of coursework to do this weekend. Stupid education :cussing: Did manage to see Ari (and his entry!) on his way though. Hopefully I\'ll be there next year.

congrats to all the winners, man, juliens giant was another level, it was absoloutely amazing.
the judging has been seriously sorted now (thanks to niel for his help in that department) and the lighting was slightly better.
i may even enter next year (and get my arse handed to me!)
a lot of seriously nice pieces on display
the meet up was great, their were loads of people which made a great atmosphere and the pointers i got were invaluable, thanks again guys for all the tips and help.

i agree juliens giant blew my mind the bar wasnt raised it was broken and i have to say having not been to gd for 7 years the overall standard is so high its gobsmaking. well done to all who won.and thank you to every 1 who entered even tho i won nothing i came away inspired the talent there and on here has made me determind to be a better painter

demonherald won gold in duel, mark lifton took silver, and nigel bronze.
ben comet took forgeworld and a few others,
ben (rocket and roll ) got a 2 or 3 i think and adrian bay about 4, cant remember any others!!
i made finalist with three so im well chuffed!
great to meet everyone, either again or for the first time

Hi all... just got back half an hour ago...
Just to quickly say how awesome it was to see everyone again and to say WOHOOOOO!!!! After three years of trying I finally got my demon(s)!!!!
To add to the detail so far (as far as I can remember)..
Nigel (Talonicus) did win something, a bronze in Duel IIRC...
Ady got four demons, open, large scale (of course), wh monster and 40K single...
Ben Kommets got FW best in show plus two demons and was all smiles...
I got a gold in 40K vehicle for my Vanquisher (absolutely gobsmacked with that one, frankly I\'d have passed out just getting a bronze!) Plus I got silver in 40K single with my demonette assassin (which isn\'t up on CMON yet) which amazed me even more.... Nano got gold ahead of me (OMG, freaking unbelievable mini) and won the sword with it too, Adrian got the bronze.
My buddy Richard Elliot (fellow Platoon Brittanica/Team Harrow member) got bronze in diorama and almost wet himself with shock
And yeah, the little goblin went home with a bronze in youngbloods (and came away frowning that it was ONLY a bronze!!!) But as a bonus he is now officially the mascott of Platoon Brittanica and is destined to be locked in a small cage with an endless supply of greenstuff so he can sculpt for us all full time

Just make sure he gets my two commissions done before you load him down with too much. I have plans for those pieces!

Cheers dude!!! And yes, Ady\'s stuff was all breathtaking as per usual
As for the Spanish \'cleaning up\'... (and with the greatest of respect to them all, especially Nano who\'se sword winning mini was just gob-smacking!) I must admit to actually feeling quite proud that this year at least 75% of the demons went to UK painters (from what I saw at least).
I hope people don\'t think I\'m being inapropriately patriotic... but it\'s been a long while since I think we did so well at our own demons, and I think we should be proud!!!
Hey, give it a couple of years and we\'ll have a UK slayer sword winner again too!!
My money\'s on Squiggy for 2012!

Gratz on the trophy squig, the number of entries in youngbloods was crazy from what i could see in the cabinets.
