I don\'t often do Work In progress pics, as I get too engrossed in what I\'m doing. But here\'s a couple of things I\'ve been working on:-
My first ever Facial sculpt, I used Fimo and followed the concepts outlined in Katherine Dewey\'s book on sculpting figures. (Good Book, definitley worth getting a copy!)
The face isn\'t to bad as an Ogre, it\'s just a pity I was going for an Elven look. (You can laugh it\'s OK)
This guy has been sitting on my desk giving me the \'Baleful eye\' since February when I got hold of him. Since I was at a point where I could start whatever I wanted I decided to go for him. I painted him this far on a Sunday afternoon in about 4 hours.
He\'s done in Vallejo paints. Brown Sand, Medium Flesh, Beige Red mix over a very thin coat of Bestial Brown. Shadow tones are via thin washes of Burnt Cadmium Red and highlights are with Basic Skintone added to the base mix.
