I\'d really like to see a mini which would be perfect for painting a \'light source\' paintjob. Springing immediately to mind, would be a wizardy type fellow/fellowess peering into a crystal ball... sort of crouched over it.. would make a great light source onto the face.... Actually, I might draw this up as a concept

Supervike - Not after apprentice sculptors but it might be nice to afford a general lackey

Caenem - A samll dragon may be a fun project. I\'ll keep that in mind.

Temperance - All good ideas for the melting pot.

Mengu - A male Succubus (Incubus I believe) is something I have planned.

Kat - I\'ll look up Fables and have a peer.

Temperance (again) - The advert idea may be good further down the line,

Mobosix - The Amazons are out of stock at the moment though I think there are more coming. Look for posts on the coolmini contest for details.

Stripwalker - I\'m looking into Paypal. Will speak to the guys next week to see how viable it is.

Mouse - I believe shipping to Asia is $7 for any amount. Must get the shipping rates noted on the shopping pages.

Beelzebrush - How about a Barbarian witgh a magic glowing sword (there\'s a sales pitch if ever I made one ). But the wizard one sounds fun.

I must admit, I can\'t think of a single example of an Incubus figure. I could be wrong though.

Some thing a bit different...

I know that\'s easier said than done, but I think the gamers in the community have been well served by manufacturers for a number of years, there are a raft of companies out there producing the standard D&D type figure. Personally, I really, really don\'t want another dwarf, monk, knight, thief, elf etc. in my collection unless they are VERY different.

What I like to see are miniatures which pose a challenge for the painter. IMO Rackham\'s success is largely due to this challenge factor. I have bought loads of Confrontation minis and have no intention of ever playing the game.

So where does that leave us:

I like the incubus idea.
Non-comical vampires
Demons-proper scary ones
Familiars-ditto
Angels-not necessarily with great big wings
Strong female characters that might have remembered to get dressed in the morning-like the new Terminator girl
Geeks/nurds-I think there is not enough comedy around
More figures like your succubus - please

Finn, challenging the painter is an interesting point. I find there to be a difference between challenging the painter and making their life difficult. I like to think my figures will challenge painters. Not because they\'re massively complicated but because they offer a great scope for different ways to paint them. Look at the Half Elf. There are 3 on coolmini now and they are all totally different.

As for your ideas, I have definate plans for a male and female vampire. I\'ve been sculpting Vampires for Blood Bowl fairly recently so I\'ve had loads of practice at sculpting fangs

Hi Steve,

you already know I like your new miniatures but here\'s a couple of public suggestions so also other people can agree or not.

I really like to see a good Templar knight, maybe with unusual position like on his knee or holding the sword for the blade like a blessing cross.
A good thing will be to remove his helm and sculpt it near his foot or under his arm.
I have seen some example in historical miniatures but I dont remember nothing like this in 30mm miniatures.

Also the incubus miiature and some nice vampires are always welcome.

As a really weird guy and a fan of \'The 13th Warrior\' How\'s about a couple of figures in flowing arabic robes. (Think of the freehand possibilities).
But not the curly toed hareem slippers on the feet please. (Or the Hareem Girl either).
Also:
A beggar in rags.
A Mercenary, clad in leather britches & laced up waistcoat,(No shirt) with leather vambraces and his sword strapped across his back for a left hander. (Not many of them around!)
