Khador Manowar

This model from Warmachine was fantastic to paint. Smooth sculpting and crisp detail - actually the hard part was to stop painting and finish the model. Painted in the same colour scheme as my Butcher of Khardov (www.coolminiornot.com/124063) this mini features a strong and simple colour scheme of gold and black. I tried to add warmth to the shading of both the gold and the black - the latter being glazed with thinned down red and purple inks. Unlike my usually practice I have not weathered this model at all and the result is a very clean-looking miniature. The paintjob is featured in Privateer Press's 2005 Catalog.

Not usually one of my favorite minis, your work makes me reconsider. the black armor is exceptionally well done.
