Teclis - interpretation

I sculpted this guy back in Summer 2008. A lot of work, but fun and challenging to do and even more fun to paint. I tried to create a more elegant and dynamic version of the magician. The inspiration comes mostly from Paul Dainton's artwork, but I also looked a lot at Jes's old Teclis model from 1993 as well as the HE artwork in "The Gothic and the Eldritch". Apart from this, I also have had this idea of a cape in three parts that I wanted to try out.... There is the robes of an Eldar underneath, and I used part of the original staff and a plastic moon. The rest is sculpted using greenstuf or Milliput.

I´m a fan of the High Elves and I love this Teclis miniature, so good the movement and perfect sculpt work. Keep up the good work, greetings from Spain.
