Rogue Gladiator

This is my first public sculpt since the =I= shieldbearer I did back in 2002. This Rogue Gladiator was sculpted (and painted) for a Danish convention, WarCon (held in May 2005). The model will NOT be for sale to the public, but is "part of the package" for those who participate in the convention. - Alternative view and a link to the convention homepage (site in Danish) is available from my homepage via the link above.

Great sculpt, magnificent paint job. The helmet really emphasises his downtrodden glory, and the determined expression on his face is simply wonderful! Amazing work all round! :) ~Bill

Amazing work, your metal rock. The miniature's style reminds me of the old good golden Age of Gw...like an updated early sculpt of Jes Goodwin [this mini remind me the old wardancers].Anyway, fantastic sculpt and fantastic paintjob!

Hold kaft! It is Mel Gibson! Just kidding! This is your first sculpt since '02....wow are you destined to be good. The head is superb . You really nailed a great realistic mouth, chin and lower jaw for a great looking expression. The metalics are painted beautifully and look fantastic. His legs look proportioned a little too short...obviously not a Dane this one. The upper body is sculpted nice with good musculature and detail. The shield looks great. It is a nice figure that for me would be a great figure with some longer legs with perhaps a little more muscle detail. With that said I like the pose and with some minor work could see this guy in someones product line. This guy has a look that would make a great fit into the Reaper line.
