Quaircus I would love to do a pristine ornate temple so much however three things stop me. I'd have to sculpt it from scratch and if it was a new temple it would have to be spot on and I'm not that good. Second he's been molded with a rubble rock under his foot so this kind of nocks it a hit askew, third he is not that colourful and I think he would get lost a bit in the sumptuous surrounding.
I could be just using these reasons as an excuse because I'm daunted by the task to be fair

Been thinking halfway house and incorporating some of the ideas a working temple so to speak but ancient and rubble strewn. Also with rust coloured dirt and some of the scibor miniature Buddha heads which I managed to dig up. Here's a pic from the late great Ray Harryhausen Golden voyage of sinbad. I think with lots of hard work I could do something vaguely like this.
