Life is crazy! Every time I sit down to paint I either get a baby put in my lap or some minor domestic crisis erupts. We do have a new water heater now. And we have taken the first steps toward potty training the older baby.
I had a couple of hours lined up to paint the other night and my air compressor broke. No big deal to fix it and the guy on the phone sent the part for free but I did not get the painting done.
So instead I did the bases for the Ebay Killa Kans. I think the one with the wires and the improvised tank trap came out the best.

These are made out of Magic Sculpt, an old (smashed) CD player and some bits from the bits bin. Basically I pile some magic sculpt on the base then stick things in it. I Let that dry and add some dirt with PVA glue.
I have been very slowly getting some work done on the Termies. I think I just need to do the chest wings and maybe some of the little decorative skulls before I can sponge battle damage on them them with smoke and boltgun metal. I should bite the bullet and do it because I bet the battle damage will make me like working on them again.
Finally, since I was bored of the Termies and couldn't fire up my airbrush to start my Ebay project, I sat back down with this little lady from Reaper:

She looks pretty cool right? I started her and got 90% done this summer but then everything except for her face looked really drab and flat. So I put her down. I got some good advice at the painting workshop I went to, to do some light "blacklining" and force some shadows, and I think she is looking pretty good. Orange and warm brown are the answer! Do you guys have tips for the NMM on her scabbards or the blade? I also need some help on that skin tone shoulder. Warm brown maybe?
This was my inspiration for her PJ;

So all in all I got a lot done this week, like this post! I guess the key is to just keep putting one foot in front of the other.
