Games Day Wolf Priest

This was one of my entries for the UK Games day. He didn't make it through first cut, unfortunately. But it's still a nice model I think. I'm probably going to sell him so if you'd like to buy it please make me an offer. Regards Kat

I think what brought you down if anyhting was your choice of basing. Although it looks absolutely fantastic, it doesn't seem to mix with the vibrant and warmer Priest. I also think you may have been better off without the banner as it seems it may have been a bit rushed. Sorry if it wasn't, its just that parts seem poorly blended and certain areas (the right jaw and eye) semm smaller compared to their counterparts. Asides from those two things the model is fantastic and I would not be the least surprised to see a win by yourself in the future.

WOW! The mini is so nice. I exspecially like the Base. The only thing I don't like ist the Wolf on the banner. He (the Wolf) looks a kind of silly...

My favorite part of this figure is his cloak. The different colors in it just look awesome from the back, the head hood looks good too. The freehand on the banner is nice, I'm impressed. :) I also like the multi-color thing you did with the banner pole, that gave it a lot more life, when it fades from a brown to a silver. I'm not crazy about the base, it's a little too turquoise-y for me, but it's well painted. Also, from what I can tell from the pic, the back of the banner looks a little flat. It was kind of a let down after the front. I'm not saying you have to freehand another pic on the back, just some more shading maybe? Of course, those dark colors are a nightmare to photograph, all the highs and lows seem to get lost, so it might have more color than it appears. Nice! :)
